BOOK CLUB: Don’t forget to join the STISD Book Club. The book: Gifted Hands: The Ben Carson Story is now available in Spanish. Call any STISD Library and request your copy. The Book Club Meetings are held in English & Spanish and a light brunch is served.
DISTRICT WIDE PARENTAL INVOLVEMENT MEETINGS:
The last 2010 district Wide Parental Involvement Meeting will be held on THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 18th at 6:30 PM at Biblioteca Las Americas in Mercedes, Texas.
The topic is: “Operation Detour: Protecting Your Children” presented by US Customs & Border Protection.
The meeting will be simultaneously translated to Spanish. A light brunch will be served.
SPECIAL NOTE TO PARENTS: All Support Group Meetings scheduled to be held in McAllen and Brownsville for the months of February and April have been CANCELLED.
