Caroline E. Holt Nursing Scholarship
· The Caroline E. Holt Nursing Scholarship is awarded to students who are in financial need and are accepted and enrolled into an accredited school of nursing.

Burger King Scholars Program
· Students may apply from public, private, vocational, technical, parochial and alternative high schools throughout the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico. Applicants must be high school seniors who:
· Maintain a cumulative grade point average of 2.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale or the equivalent.
· Work part-time an average of 15 hours per week, 40 weeks per year (unless individual circumstances prevent the student's involvement).
· Demonstrate participation in community service and/or co-curricular activities.
· Demonstrate financial need.
· Plan to enroll in an accredited two- or four-year college, university, or vocational/technical school by the fall term of the graduating year.
· Graduating high school senior or graduating from home school education.
· Must be a U.S. or Canada resident.

Hispanic Scholarship Fund - General College Scholarship Fund
· Be of Hispanic heritage
· Be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident with a permanent resident card or passport stamped I-551 (not expired)
· Have a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
· Have plans to enroll FULL-TIME in a degree seeking program at a two or four year U.S. accredited institution in the U.S., Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands or Guam during the 2009-2010 academic year
· Must apply for federal financial aid by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
· Be pursuing first undergraduate or graduate degree

· Must major in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) field
· Must currently reside in one of the following locations: Chicago, Florida, Georgia, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Texas or the Los Angeles metropolitan area
· Have plans to enroll FULL-TIME in a degree seeking program at a U.S. accredited institution in the U.S., Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands or Guam during the 2009-2010 academic year

· Maintain at least a 2.0 GPA throughout high school or college

· Participate in extracurricular activities or community service
· Receive written recommendation from his or her BK® employer
